OOTD ROUNDUP / JULY

After last month’s successful June edition, I thought I'd come back with another OOTD roundup for you all. Here's where I showcased some of my outfits of the month and links to where you can buy the items. Please note that a lot of the clothes I wear are from seasons past so unfortunately I won't be able to link each item, but I'll still tell you where they're from in case they have similar items available.

I'm sure some of you follow me on Instagram where I generally do OOTD's every other day - thanks to my trusty Insta/work wife. I try and make sure to tag each item and where it's from, but I still get lots of questions asking so thought this'd be a nice platform for people to come to and get direct links to each piece.

I also think it'd be nice for me to look back on and see how my style develops over time. I'm sure I'll look back in months / years to come and think whyyyyyyy did you wear that in classic retrospect style but hey ho, that's the fun of it, right?

I bloody love July, predominantly because its my birthday month so I get to make a big fuss and dress up a fair bit haha. This months weather has again been bizarre - some sunshine, some rain and even some thunderstorms. Y'know, typical English weather so my outfits have been a very random mix.

I hope you like the outfits and as always, let me know which ones are your favourite down below in the comments!

WHAT I WORE IN JULY

JACKET - Zara

T-SHIRT - H&M

JEANS - Impreshunz

SHOES - KG

This is quite a casual outfit for me but sometimes I just wake up really wanting to rock jeans and a t-shirt. I edged it up with this bomber and open toed boots - both are super old but I always come back to them because they really make an outfit. The highlight of this outfit for me are definitely the jeans, I kindly got gifted them from the lovely people at Impreshunz and was a bit sceptical at first because I don't usually like blue jeans but the colour and fit of these are AMAZING. I've been wearing them pretty much non-stop!

DRESS - Zara

BOOTS - Zara

Of course there was going to be at least one head to toe Zara outfit. I looooove it! I spotted this dress in the Zara sale and fell in love because it encompasses everything I'm currently obsessed with - red, ruffles and flared sleeves. I actually wore this dress on my birthday with a pair of heels and it was perfect. Great sale purchase for sure! P.S. It also has an open back which is super sexy.

TOP - Zara

JEANS - Impreshunz

TRAINERS - Zara

BAG - Mango

Back at it again with the sale items, the British summer sales have been treating me well. We all know I'm an off the shoulder addict so this was an obvious choice for me and I love the pattern on it too, very pretty and can be worn casual or dressed up. I'm a fan of a versatile piece. I paired it with my Impreshunz jeans again because well, I told ya so. But the piece de resistance of this outfit for me is definitely this baby blue bag from Mango. I don't have any other accessories in this colour and it really just lifts the whole outfit!

SKIRT - Topshop

TOP - Primark

SANDALS - Clarks

BAG - Vivienne Westwood

I've had this skirt for yonks but will never part with it because it just goes with absolutely everything - plus it hides all the sins hahaha. I love pairing it with crop tops like this one and I think this particular stripey number gives it a very Parisienne vibe. If only I lived in Paris. My one true love is this Vivienne Westwood bag... I'm honestly head over heels in love with it and won't harp on about it any more than that because I've done a post all about my favourite handbags incl. this one here

DRESS - Mango

BAG - Vivienne Westwood

SHOES - Topshop

I wore this dress for a birthday meal out and loooved it. I never really shopped at Mango until very recently and I think they do the most gorgeous, unique pieces. This dress was a bargain at £15 and I think it looks much more expensive. I felt very girly and flirty in this dress because it's so floaty with the ruffles. I'm definitely on the hunt for more dresses of this style. Definitely a winner.

DRESS - Zara

BAG - Vivienne Westwood

SHOES - Topshop

This dress is sooooo old, I actually wore it for my birthday about 4 years ago but I still really love the print and style. I definitely was finding any way to wear my new bag though and was matching it with anything and everything I could find haha. #obsessed

TOP - ASOS

JEANS - Impreshunz

BAG - High Spirit

SHOES - Topshop

I got gifted this backpack from the looooovely guys at High Spirit and I genuinely can't get enough of it. I never thought I'd love a backpack and definitely thought they were a bit 'nerdy' beforehand but this one is so cool and chic that it goes with so many different things. I paired it with this wrap, kimono style shirt from ASOS and of course, my trusty jeans.

TOP - Zara

TROUSERS - Topshop

SHOES - Topshop

BAG - Chloe Faye dupe

You would've seen these trousers in last months OOTD roundup (see the look here) and although I think they look really chic paired with black, I think that it looks even better with white. This is one of my favourite tops ever so I find any excuse to wear it! I also think these trousers would also look great with the white kimono style shirt I showed above...

JEAN JACKET - Primark

JUMPSUIT - ASOS

BAG - Vivienne Westwood

CHOKER - Zara

SHOES - Topshop

This is honestly my go-to jumpsuit for a night out because I'm a massive fan of being comfortable and being able to move. I'm unfortunately never going to be that girl that can spend hours and hours in a tight dress - even if it does look amazing - because I like to dance like mad haha. Whenever I wear this jumpsuit, I like to switch it up and pair it with different accessories and jacket combinations. Last time I wore it, I paired it with a white jacket which you can see here - I love that look but I also really like the effect of it with my embroidered jean jacket. I think it looked super cool!

JUMPSUITS - Topshop

BAG - Vivienne Westwood

BELT - Topshop

SHOES - Topshop

I'm really enjoying wearing jumpsuits at the moment, for many reasons. Firstly, it means that I don't have to shave my legs haha and secondly because they're just so easy to wear and I don't have to worry about pairing an outfit. It's just on and ready to go. However I have to address the peeing situation in a jumpsuit - SO BLOODY ANNOYING. This one from Topshop is sooooo lovely and is great for both day and night!

P.S. Other news... I quit my job last week (woo!) but due to that, we're losing the infamous wall. As some of you will've read in my how to juggle a blog with a full time job post, my friend Diane used to take my outfit shots for me during our lunch break. So you know... goodbye wall. BUT HELLO MORE PROFESSIONAL PHOTOS COMING YOUR WAY!!! Stay tuned - I've very, very excited for this new chapter of my blogging journey!
