It's May. MAY. This is totally not okay. Where is this year going?

... the only salvageable thing about this is that some sunshine should be on it's way. Pretty, pretty please!

Anyway, I'll stop harping on and get into the good stuff. I've been a bit naughty with spending the past couple of days and also got treated to some bits whilst I was away in Cologne with my Dad so this post is going to be a bit of a combination of what I've got my eye on but I've also going to share some of the bits I've bought / been gifted the past few weeks.

Zara are bloody smashing it at the moment, it's almost infuriating because I'm now having to avoid it which is really difficult for me. I feel like they really find their own when it comes to Spring / Summer and the whole current collection is gorgeous. I felt like my wardrobe was missing some Spring tops so picked up a couple which are really lovely, couldn't be happier with them both.

Embroidered Gingham Blouse

Floral Embroidered Shirt

P.S. If you hadn't already guessed, I'm suuuper into embroidery.

Following on from the above, I couldn't resist this denim jacket from Primark. I know that embroidered denim jackets aren't going to be in fashion forever so I'm always hesitant to invest a lot of money into them so when I spotted this fun one in Primark, I knew I had to take it home. The flamingo is adorable and I've had sooo many compliments on it so far.

I've got a lot of gingham in my wardrobe at the moment, which I loooove, but I've also noticed a lot of dotty prints all over the shops so I was very happy to find the following in Topshop. It's got a really unique, tie-up detail on the front, and of course, ruffles which are super cute. Stay tuned for a Instagram post for my styling of it.

Polka Dot Bed Blouse

So, I've had a bit of a jean revelation. Anyone that knows me, knows that I'm a black skinny jean addict and nothing has swayed that until now. Whilst rummaging through the Topshop sale rack yesterday, I spotted a pair of blue MOM jeans in my size for £20 and took the plunge. I love love love them and think they'll be perfect for summer - whenever it arrives!

I've needed a new foundation for a while but tend to try and save buying a high end one until I know I'll be travelling so I can get one at a cheeky duty free. I originally had my eye on the NARS Sheer Glow Foundation because I've used it before but they didn't have it in stock so the lady at the counter suggested the All Day Luminous Foundation instead and it's sooooooo good. Very light in consistency which put me off a bit at first but the finish and the staying power is great.

I've heard great things about H&M beauty and so whilst at Westfield yesterday, I thought I'd try out a few bits as they had a massive beauty section. Here are the things I bought...

H&M Bronzer

H&M Powder Blush - Pink Peach

H&M Face Mask - Tea Tree

H&M Face Mask - Pomegranate & Mango

H&M Face Mask - Coconut Water

H&M Definite Texture Paste

A few months ago, I tried a sample of the Clinique Take The Day Off Cleansing Balm and really loved it. When I'd finished off the sample, I still had some other random cleansers stored away to finish up but as soon as they ran out, I made sure to pick up a full size of the Clinique one. I've only been using it again for a few days but forgot how good it is; takes makeup off so effortlessly and leaves skin so super soft and clean.

I should know by now not to go into Oliver Bonas because I rarely leave empty handed. I went in there the other day and to make matters worse, they had a sale on... I ended up leaving with three books, one of which being The Life Changing Magic of Not Giving a F**k. Seriously is life changing.

For some reason, I'm really feeling a bit of red at the moment so have got my eye on a few bits to liven up my predominantly monochrome wardrobe...

Zara - Red Tailored Jacket

Whistles - Red Small Clutch

I've wanted to get a second hole pierced on my left ear for literally yeaaaaars and so I took the plunge and got it done. At the moment, I've got a pretty silver star in there but I know I'm gonna want to get some backups for when I want to switch it up. I'm thinking something like these Mini Open Circle Stud's from Orelia. Simple but pretty.

I'm still yet to fill my Spring shoe gap so I really need to invest in a pair of espadrilles or something, here are a couple of pairs I'm liking the look of at the moment:

Topshop - Lace Up Espadrilles

Office - Espadrilles

There ya go! Hope you all had a lovely long weekend and have a great May!
