THE KNITWEAR EDIT

Knitwear season is upon us, which means – despite shorter days, darker nights and waking up in the morning becoming increasingly difficult – it's time to wrap up and stay suuuuper cosy. Just like a big, warm cuddle or taking your duvet into work, the right cardigan or jumper can see you through that inevitable seasonal cold. I've got one right now, sniff sniff.

It's suddenly got really chilly here in London, especially in the evenings, and my what-I-thought was-Winter-appropriate wardrobe really hasn't been keeping me very warm. Any excuse for some retail therapy, eh. There are so many different styles and variables available at the moment, from block colour panels, mixed-up threads and technicolour stripes, just to name a few.

As much as I'd like to, I sadly don't have the income to invest in a whole new array of designer cashmere jumpers and so I tend to turn to the high-street for more affordable alternatives. Just as warm and snuggly, but my bank balance won't shudder at the price-tag. During these autumnal months, I prefer thinner knits, as they're the perfect piece for layering, they look great tucked into high waisted skirts and jeans AND they're also a lot more flattering. Ideally I don't want to look three sizes bigger than I am...

JUMPER - MANGO

JEANS - TOPSHOP

TRAINERS - SUPERGA

Speaking of the high-street, the jumper I'm wearing is from good ol' Mango and was an absolute bargain. I love the different coloured stripes and it also has silvery threads running through it - which is so on trend - but more importantly, makes me feel super festive.

Below I'm going to show you some of my favourite knits available on the high-street right now; click on the picture to go ahead and purchase each item! P.S. Wanna know the best part? They're all under £30!!!

Hope you all stay warm and snug this Autumn!
