FASHION / MY WINTER CAPSULE WARDROBE

For the past few years, I’ve made a conscious decision - mainly because of my bank balance - to apply the ‘less is more’ rule when it comes to clothes shopping. I’ve essentially created my version of a seasonal ‘capsule wardrobe’ with the core value being quality over quantity.

I’ve spent too many mornings frantically running around my bedroom trying on different outfit combinations, leaving a messy floordrobe behind me.  To avoid that, I now try and create collections of ‘go-to’ outfit options that are functional, stylish and make me feel good. My wardrobe is made up of a few investment pieces, a lot of basics and then styles that I consider to be seasonal trends.

I ‘refresh’ my wardrobe regularly, selling items or giving them away to charity, before filling the gaps to make sure that my wardrobe is consistently filled with my favourite pieces.

I wanted to share with you 8 pieces in my wardrobe which I loooooooove and how I'd style them...
