FOOD & DRINK / I'M KEEPING THESE LONDON BARS OPEN
Seeing as it's #FRIYAY, I thought I'd share with you my favourite bars in London. As Rihanna would say; cheers to the freakin' weekend!
Barrio’s vibe is so contagious; you walk in and instantly feel like you’re on a tropical holiday. Inspired by Latino flare and culture, the bar is separated into areas with their own distinct feel, design and purpose; e.g. ‘La Boca Barrio’ is a dance floor area set against a colourful Buenos Aires neighbourhood scene.
The music is always cutting edge and eclectic, with an anything-goes policy and a fun-time house party type vibe attracting all kinds of folk. That’s the best thing about it; it’s genuinely a bar for anyone and everyone.
After a drink or two of their specialist cocktails, you’ll definitely start to feel the shake in your hips Latino style!
I’ll never get bored of Adventure Bar. It’s somewhere I frequent fairly regularly because it has the perfect combination of all the things you look for in a great bar; cocktails, tunes, food and a great atmosphere.
This basement bar is great for any type of evening; whether you want a few casual post-work drinks or whether you want to dance on the tables till the early hours with your girlfriends (or guy-friends) to their mix of old school classics and current jams.
After a few of their happy hour cocktails, it’s definitely the latter which is most likely…
Nestled in the main Covent Garden square, you’ll find – as its name suggests – this cocktail specialist bar. It’s a touch more sophisticated than the two bars above with its plush interior, low tables, cosy diner booths and most importantly, their personally designed drinks which attract glam clientele.
It's perfect for when you want to get dressed up with the girls, or even for a date night.
P.S. For those who love a drink but hate the calories, they also have lower calorie ‘skinny cocktails’ on offer…
So, what will you order?
